Overview

This Oneida Nation program supports parents through pregnancy, birth and child rearing. The goal of the program is to improve health outcomes for pregnant First Nations women and families with infants and young children who live on-reserve. This program provides: home visits during pregnancy, postpartum and during early childhood, preparing for labour and delivery, getting ready to parent a newborn and healthy nutrition during and after pregnancy. The Maternal Child Health Program will also link children and families with special needs to health services.
