Position:                OFHL Operations Supervisor                            Term:     2-year contract, possibility of permanent full-time

Department:        Oneida Family Healing Lodge                           Salary:    Up to $30.00/hour – Based on qualifications

Hours:                    40 hours/week, 8:30a.m. – 4:30p.m., Monday – Friday, flexible to work evenings and weekends as required

JOB SUMMARY:  

Under the supervision of the Director of Social Services or designate, the OFHL Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Shelter. The OFHL Operations Supervisor will be responsible for financial tracking of expenditures, submitting budgets and completion of work plans. Responsible to conduct financial planning and administrative requirements as required by ISC (Department of Indigenous Services Canada) and AHWS/AIAI. Responsible for preparation of annual, quarterly, and year-end financial statements for funding agencies.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Post-Secondary Degree in Social Service Field and/or Social Service Worker Diploma OR Post-Secondary Diploma in Business/Accounting PLUS five (5) years supervisory experience;
  2. Registered in good standing with Ontario College of Social Worker and Social Service Workers, an asset;
  3. Minimum two (2) years employment experience in shelter capacity;
  4. Minimum five (5) years of finance and office related experience;
  5. Superior computer skills including proficiency in MS-Office Applications.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. The successful candidate must submit a recent (within 6-months) Vulnerable Sector CPIC, at own expense, prior to starting employment;
  2. The successful candidate must submit a copy of applicable educational qualifications (certificates, diplomas, degrees, etc.), prior to starting employment.
