TERMS OF REFERENCE

1. Requires working  with noxious cleaning material.  Contractor will possess WHMIS certificate as a Health & Safety requirement or willing to take training within the first 2 months of contract term.

2. Must provide  WSIB certificate.

3. Names of all workers of the contractor must be provided and  must also be trained  in WHMIS.

4. ALL  work will  be completed outside normal working hours.

5. Requires completion/review of Environmental Cleaning training  manual and  specific Infection Control videos from Public  Health Ontario within the First (1st)  month of contract term.

6. Follows Infection Prevention and  Control practices and  procedures for Health Care  Cleaning  Practices.

7. Completes additional training  as required.

8. The contractor is  accountable and  responsible to maintain the Health Centre and  Education Cleaning Check List.

9. Ensure all doors are locked and  security system is  turned  on nightly.

l 0. Ensure all cleaning supplies are properly stacked and  stored and according to any product handling requirements.

l l. Specialized cleaning services such as: steam cleaning, floor stripping/waxing will be contracted out separately.

12. Pension and Group benefits are not eligible costs.

13. Payment for services rendered will be bi-weekly through accounts payable.

14. A reduced payment will be made for services not completed.

15.Letter of interest with expected payment for services is  required  along  with 3 names of References.
