Under the guidance and direction of Oneida Nation of the Thames Chief and Council, and in accordance with the orientations and policies adopted by Chief and Council, the Oneida Administration plans, develops, organizes, directs and controls all administrative activities, services and programs within the jurisdiction of Oneida Nation of the Thames.

Administration Departments

  • Finance Department

    The Oneida Nation Accounting Department provides accounting services and financial support to the Oneida Nation organization. The department records accounts payable and receivable, inventory, payroll, fixed assets and all other financial elements.

  • Human Resources

    The Human Resources Department provides responsive and timely Human Resources services to Oneida Nation Administration departments to achieve the selection and development of individuals who can provide the highest quality services to our community.

  • Economic Development

    Oneida Nation Economic Development is responsible for developing comprehensive economic development action plans, programs and projects for the Oneida Nation of the Thames.

  • Employment & Training

    If you’re wondering where to find a job or how to upgrade your skills, the Aboriginal Skills and Employment Training Strategy (ASETS) may be your answer. Visit the Oneida Employment & Training and we will help you get started.

  • Lands & Estates

    The Lands  Department is a program designed to ensure our lands and resources are managed properly and sustainably to meet the needs of today’s membership and the future membership. We also offer Estate services to our community members.

  • Health Services

    The Community Health Program in Oneida provides a range of public health programs and services that evolves around health promotion, illness and injury prevention, and health maintenance. The Community Health Program is delivered by Registered Nurses with certification in Community Health Nursing, and our Community Health Representatives.

  • Long Term Care

    The Oneida Long-Term Care facility provides rehabilitative, restorative, and/or ongoing skilled nursing care to residents in need of assistance with activities of daily living.

  • Life Long Learning

    The Education Department of the Oneida Nation of the Thames is committed to helping Oneida Nation members achieve their academic goals and aspirations through the delivery of quality educational programs and services.

  • Emergency Services

    Oneida Nation Emergency Services is an organization of dedicated professionals who are committed to serving our community by protecting life, property and the environment through prevention, education, emergency medical and fire services.

  • Public Works

    The Oneida Nation Public Works Department provide several essential services to our community. The Department of Public Works is tasked with maintaining and building our community infrastructure such as roads, bridges and water treatment plant.
