The Oneida Community Centre is a great location for families to engage in both cultural-based and recreational activities. The Community Centre offers a safe environment for members and visitors of all ages and has the capacity to host many community and visitor gatherings.

Oneida Youth Programs

youth_oneida_web_1The Oneida Community Centre is home to the Youth Council of Oneida Nation of the Thames and the Oneida Youth Centre. A safe and fun place for Oneida’s youth to hang out and participate in cultural-based programs and services. The Oneida Youth Centre is staffed by Youth Centre Workers that work and play with the youth promoting healthy lifestyles and life-skills through programs such as Right-to-Play and the new C.A.R.A program that focuses on youth social and economic interests and participation opportunities. There is also a children’s ages 6-12 recreation program available for Oneida members.

To be young leaders in our community accepting the roles and responsibilities that balances our traditional values with the modern concepts of today.

Who we are; What we want to be; and Where we want to go Ukwehuwehneha, Native way; Aims to provide a voice to a diverse range of young people, which are reflective of the community they represent.
